Leeds based homecare company, My Homecare Yorkshire, has tripled its employee numbers since 2017 and is now celebrating its growth in output across the Leeds area.
My Homecare is a healthcare firm which offers homecare services to residents in the Leeds and West Yorkshire area. Its services include personal care and medical assistance, befriending, palliative care and mobility assistance among a number of others.
The business has seen a drastic increase in staff numbers and cash flow following its partnership in 2017 with finance provider Skipton Business Finance. Within this time, employee numbers have risen with My Homecare now employing approximately 60 members of staff, up 200% from 20 in 2017.
Glyn Jepson, Director at My Homecare, said: “Our partnership with Skipton Business Finance has helped us massively as we have to pay our staff in advance of receiving payments from clients, which can often lead to cash flow problems,” “The partnership with Skipton not only meant that we were able to overcome this, it also allowed us to take on more staff, which of course allowed the business to expand at an increased rate” said Jepson. “Our output has increased fourfold and we can now stand on our own two feet and are closer to where we want to be.”
My Homecare Yorkshire currently covers East Leeds and is looking to expand across Leeds to cover the West, with the aim of serving a wider scope of customers. In doing this, the business hopes to provide a more comprehensive service to the council and the NHS across the whole of the city.
